Who we are
This notice covers the website at www.velsigil.com. It is run by Velsigil, based in the United States. Questions about privacy go to hello@velsigil.com.
No cookies, no analytics, no trackers
This site does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising tools, and does not embed fonts, scripts or images from other companies. Everything you see is served from our own web server.
Because we do not track visitors, this site does not respond differently to Do Not Track signals, and no third parties collect information about you through it.
Server logs
Like any web server, ours records technical details of each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser’s user agent. We use these logs only to keep the site secure and working, and delete them after about 14 days.
Requests that the server rejects before they reach the website (for example malformed requests or dropped connections) are recorded with the IP address, date and time in the operating system’s error log, which is shared by all services on the server. We use it only for security and troubleshooting and may keep it longer.
Emails you send us
If you write to us, for example to request early access, we use your message and your contact details to answer you and, if you join early access, to work with you during it. We keep them as long as they are relevant to that conversation. Our email provider stores the messages on our behalf.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising. We share it only with service providers that handle it for us, such as our email provider and the company that hosts our server, or when the law requires us to.
The Velsigil software
This notice is about the website. The Velsigil software runs on your own server and does not send us any data. What it stores about your customers is up to you and is covered by your own privacy notice.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by writing to hello@velsigil.com. This website is meant for businesses and is not directed at children.
Changes
If we change this notice, we will update this page and the date at the top.
