A simple subscription per installation

Pay monthly or yearly for the number of production instances you run. Every plan includes every feature and all SDKs. During early access, Velsigil is free, and early-access members get 30% off their first year on either plan when paid subscriptions launch.

Planned launch pricing. It may change before launch. Prices are in US dollars and do not include sales tax; where it applies, it is added at checkout. No payment is taken during early access.

What you get, and the fine print

What a subscription includes

  • The Velsigil software, with every feature
  • The C# / .NET, C++, Python and Node.js SDKs
  • Updates and security fixes while you are subscribed
  • Best-effort help with installation by email. This is not a separate support service and comes without a service-level agreement.

What counts as an instance

An instance is one installation of Velsigil with its own database. Production instances serve your customers and their software. Each plan also allows two test or staging instances.

When a subscription ends

Updates and security fixes stop, and new releases are no longer available to you. Velsigil never locks out your customers. You can renew at any time. The license agreement, published before paid launch, will set out the terms for use after a subscription ends.

Monthly or annual

The annual price is ten times the monthly price, so a year paid up front gives you two months free.

Who can buy

For now, Velsigil is sold only to businesses established in the United States.

Payment and taxes

There is no checkout yet. At launch, payments and sales tax are handled by our merchant of record.

License agreement

The license agreement will be published before paid launch.

Hosting

Velsigil is self-hosted: you run it on your own Linux or Windows server. We do not offer a hosted version.

Early access is free. In exchange, we ask for your feedback while we prepare the paid launch. Spots are limited, and we reply to every request by email.

Early access ends when paid subscriptions launch; we will tell members by email before then. To keep using Velsigil after that, you need a subscription. The 30% discount applies to the first 12 months of either plan, paid monthly or yearly.
